A CELEBRATING OF THE LIFE OF: DOROTHY MAE HOWKINS
On behalf of Mount Calvary, Missionary Baptist Church (MCMBC) is hosting the Celebration of Dorothy Mae Hawkins. Please participate in Dorothy's celebration service. Thank you.
Dorothy Mae Hawkins was born on December 24, 1951, in Tampa Florida.
Graduated from Middleton high school in 1969. She was a force to be reckoned with. She started her singing career at an early age. She would stand on a milk crate so that the people could see her. She has used her voice paired with her strong, larger than life personality all over the world. Dorothy alongside her husband of 53 years, carl Hawkins, has made music that honors God and encourages his people. She has also left a legacy of love and music through her children and grandchildren.
