The Tina Santi Flaherty-Winston Churchill Literary Series continues with Lynne Olson, author of the forthcoming "Those Angry Days," which chronicles the debate over American intervention in World War II-a bitter, sometimes violent clash of personalities and ideas that divided the nation. Tom Brokaw called Those Angry Days "a riveting account of the political tensions and cast of historic figures engaged in an epic battle over the role of the United States in the early years of World War II...Modern leaders and citizens alike can learn so much from Those Angry Days...Lynne Olson has done it again."
Olson's last book, Citizens of London, was named one of the top books of 2010 by the American Library Association and her writing has appeared in numerous publications including: The Washington Post, American Heritage, Smithsonian, Working Woman, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Ms., Elle, Glamour, Washington Journalism Review and Baltimore Magazine.
