WHAT IS IT?
More than ever, it is clear that youth hold the key to solving global challenges like global hunger and extreme poverty. Universities Fighting World Hunger is a network of 300 campuses that combine a multi-disciplinary academic action agenda with grassroots student activities to address domestic and global hunger and malnutrition, especially among children. The 2014 Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit, held from February 28-March 2, 2014 at Auburn University, emphasizes identifying hunger solutions, best practices, innovations and partnerships, giving participants not just inspiration, but practical and replicable actions that they can bring back to their campuses and communities. This +SocialGood conversation during the UFWH annual summit aims to raise awareness, drive action and share best practices about the global agenda..
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
