With David Hazeltine, piano; Jim Rotondi, trumpet; David Williams, bass; and Billy Drummond, drums
David Hazeltine, called one of “the brightest stars on the jazz piano horizon” by the late Cedar Walton, stops by Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola for one night only. Hazeltine began his career as house pianist at the famed Milwaukee Jazz Gallery, working with jazz legends Charles McPherson, Eddie Harris, Sonny Stitt, Pepper Adams, and Chet Baker. He is now one of the most in-demand pianists in New York and a dedicated educator, serving as a faculty member at SUNY Purchase. For his sets at Dizzy’s, Hazeltine arrives with a recognized powerhouse of a band.
