Saxophonist Ted Nash is a vital part of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Though steeped in tradition, Nash never hesitates to push boundaries when required. Whether playing with Wynton Marsalis or his eclectic group Odeon — featuring tuba and violin — Nash always stays true to the music. At Dizzy’s he will be joined by his own big band, which is currently celebrating the release of its new album, Chakra. Following the success of his previous big band album, Portrait in Seven Shades (Two GRAMMY® Award nominations), Ted brings a new vision and creative expression to his latest recording.
