Soundstreams celebrates sixty years of choral singing in Canada.
Under the baton of Kaspars Putniņš, conductor of the Latvian Radio Choir, ensembles from three provinces—Ontario’s Elmer Iseler Singers, the Vancouver Chamber Choir, and Alberta’s Pro Coro Canada—present a concert celebrating six decades of professional choral singing in Canada.
The festivities in Koerner Hall will include a performance of Henryk Górecki’s monumental Miserere and the world premiere of a new work by R. Murray Schafer.
